OPH 103 Introduction to Diseases of the Eye
This course introduces the fundamentals of common
external and internal diseases of the eye and
orbital region. Topics include common patient
complaints, what constitutes an ocular emergency,
triage procedure and common conditions and
disorders. Upon completion, the student should be
able to identify most common ocular diseases and
determine appropriate emergency management of
acute ocular problems.
