HIS 275 History of Terrorism
This course introduces the study of modern
terrorism, from the French Revolutionary Era to
the 21st century. Topics include definitions and
types of terrorism, theories regarding its causes,
examples of modern terrorism, counterterrorism,
and terrorism's impact, consequences, and future.
Upon completion, students should be able to
analyze significant socioeconomic, psychological,
ideological, religious, and political components
of modern terrorism.
