NMT 110 Introduction to Nuclear Medicine
This course provides a comprehensive introduction
to the field of nuclear medicine. Topics include
overview of school, program, and profession;
medical terminology and ethics; medical legal
issues; general patient care and radiation safety
practices; and departmental organization. Upon
completion, students should be able to utilize
various learning resources and demonstrate
understanding of radiation safety standards and
ethical, professional conduct.
