Career Readiness/Career Pathways
Program Description
The Career Pathways program is for anyone who is interested in getting a jump-start on a new career when they enroll in a Transitional Studies program. The Career Pathways program in the Transitional Studies Department is designed to transition students earning their High School Equivalency (HSE) or Adult High School Diploma, or those acquiring English as a second language into college. The goal is to train and educate students for their chosen career fields and guide them towards a successful profession. The current careers that are supported in the Career Pathways program are:

The Career Pathways program provides support for eligible Transitional Studies students who are enrolled in High School Equivalency, Adult High School Diploma, or English Language Acquisition classes while taking Continuing Education courses. A demonstrated commitment to attending Transitional Studies classes is expected of Career Pathways students. Some pathways may have additional requirements based on Continuing Education stipulations for that certification.
