Independent Study

A student may apply to take a course on an independent study basis when it is listed in the school catalog but is not being offered during the designated semester.  

Permission must be obtained from the dean responsible for the course before the student may register for the course.

An independent request form is submitted to the dean for approval.  If the approval is approved, the director of enrollment management processes the request form and the student registers for the course.
