NMT 126 Nuclear Physics
This course introduces the fundamental principles
of the physics that underlie nuclear medicine.
Topics include atomic structure, electromagnetic
and particulate radiation, decay schemes,
production of radionuclides with emphasis on
radionuclide generators, and decay calculations.
Upon completion, students should be able to
demonstrate an understanding of the physical
concepts covered in the course.
