Bookstores
Bookstores
The Cobra Stores are an auxiliary enterprise of the college operated for the convenience of students, faculty, and staff. Prices will be set at the lowest practicable point.
Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute has teamed up with BibliU to bring students affordable digital course materials through BibliU’s Equitable Access (EA) program. The physical campus stores will offer CCC&TI school supplies and apparel; however, they will not carry most course materials.
What You Can Expect
- Day-One Access to Digital Course Materials – You will get instant access to your required digital course materials (eBooks, embedded codes, etc.) directly through Moodle from day one of your class. If your instructors require print materials, you will be able to purchase them separately on the Cobra Store website or source them on your own.
- Affordable Prices – EA slashes textbook costs up to 50%, so you get your materials at a lower price than traditional options. The EA cost of $80 per digital item, per course will be added directly to the cost of each class each semester.
- Opt-Out Flexibility & Print Materials – If you choose not to use EA, you can opt-out each semester before the add/drop deadline. If you opt-out, you will not be charged for or have access to the EA digital materials. If you opt-out, you will be required to source your materials on your own or purchase online through the campus bookstore.
- Comprehensive Reading Features – Your EA course materials include a global and content-specific search, text-to-speech audio playback, speed reader, automated referencing, and more to support your academic success.
- 24/7 Support – If you have any questions about your EA course materials, BibliU’s dedicated 24/7 customer support team is available anytime to assist you.
- Streamlined Campus Store – Along with EA, BibliU will operate the campus store website, providing expanded product options, including more school-branded merchandise.
