Threat or Safety Assessment
The college makes every effort to provide a safe place for its students to learn and a safe place for its employees to work. When college employees or students have a concern about a student's potential to have a negative consequence regarding the safety of college employees, other students, or themselves, they are encouraged to submit a report of the concern to the college's CARE Team, a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team focused on early-intervention and prevention for students exhibiting concerning behaviors.
Membership of the CARE Team is as follows:
1. Executive Director, Student Development & Success (Chair)
2. Vice President, Student Services
3. Director, Counseling and Accessibility Services
4. Director, Security
5. Other appointees as needed
