Federal Work-Study Program

The Federal Work-Study program provides on-campus work opportunities to students with a documented need. Eligible students based on FAFSA, can work for various departments across the college campus to help offset their educational expenses. Students are paid retroactively a month behind at $15.00 per hour. Employment ends on the last working day of May unless the position supervisor determines an earlier date. Funds are paid to the student directly.

 

Students must meet general eligibility criteria:

 

• Completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Have an unmet need as determined by information submitted on the FAFSA.
• Maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP): Cumulative 67% Completion Rate and 2.0 GPA.
• Be enrolled in an eligible program of study.
• Enroll in 6 credit hours or more each term.
