Application Procedure
Students who are entering CCC&TI for the first time and are in need of financial assistance are encouraged to follow this application procedure:

Apply for admission to the college (see “Admissions”)
- Apply for a FSA User ID at: www.fsa.ed.gov (you will use this ID to sign the FAFSA)
- Complete the Free Application for federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at: www.fafsa.gov
- CCC&TI’s federal school code is 004835.
NOTES: Students can access the FAFSA beginning Oct. 1 each year to apply for aid for the upcoming academic year. Students who complete the FAFSA early increase their chances of getting additional state aid available on a first-come first-served basis.
Students have until June 30 of the following year to submit a completed application.
To charge educational expenses to financial aid during regular registration, completed FAFSA’s must be on file by the target dates indicated below:

Students are encouraged to take advantage of the convenient payment plan offered through the college if financial aid is not in place on or prior to the target date
