Graduation Requirements
The commencement ceremony is held in May. All summer, fall and spring candidates for graduation are expected to be in attendance. A student is eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony when the following requirements have been completed:
- The student must file a graduation application for the degree/diploma/certificate and pay the applicable fee by the published deadline. The graduation application fee will be waived for certificate graduates not attending the commencement ceremony.
- All the requirements for a degree/diploma/certificate in a particular program must be satisfactorily completed with a program grade point average of at least 2.0.
- Health Science graduates must follow graduation requirements as stated in their program manual received upon acceptance into the program.
- Students must complete at least 25 percent of the credit hours, required for their program of study, in residence with CCC&TI in order for the college to award the degree, diploma or certificate. Work Based Learning will not count toward residency requirements for graduation. “In residence” denotes credit hours earned at CCC&TI.
- The student must take care of all financial obligations to CCC&TI prior to commencement ceremony or distribution of credentials.
