Evaluating SAP

The Academic Progress and the Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Evaluations are two processes occurring at the end of each academic term. Students will receive separate notifications regarding each status. The SAP evaluation from the Financial Aid Office notifies students of their eligibility to receive financial aid for the upcoming term and is based on all credit hours attempted, including graded or ungraded transfer credit. It is possible for a student to continue enrollment from the outcome of the Academic Evaluation, but due to the Financial Aid evaluation, become ineligible for financial aid.

The financial aid SAP evaluation conducted by the Financial Aid Office is performed at the end of each term of enrollment regardless of aid eligibility or use. Students need to watch for their notification and the status they have been assigned from both areas.
