Admissions for International Students

CCC&TI is authorized by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services to admit international students. This permission was granted on July 12, 1966, with authorization number WAS 2141562.

International students must meet admission requirements set forth by CCC&TI as well as requirements specified by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. In addition to the application, the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL iBT®) is required of all applicants, with a minimum acceptable score of 65. The TOEFL scores must be no more than two years old at the time of application for admission. Exceptions to this requirement will need approval from the Executive Director of Enrollment Management.

Academic Records

A certified copy of the high school transcript is required. If the original transcript is written in a language other than English, a certified copy translated into English is required.

Transcripts of course work completed at a college or university located outside the United States must be accompanied by a certified English translation and a course-by-course evaluation. Transfer credit from foreign colleges or universities will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Course descriptions, a comprehensive course-by-course evaluation and/or a catalog-match evaluation may be required if transfer credit is being requested for certain courses.

All transcripts being translated need to be evaluated by a National Association of Credentials Evaluation Service (NACES) recognized member before they can be evaluated as authentic and for possible transfer credit.
